Reading, Pennsylvania – MAW Communications is proud to announce that we will be a part of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission’s Pole Attachment Working Group. On September 17th, 2020, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) issued an Opinion and Order for additional parties to be admitted into the PUC’s Pole Attachment Working Group. Along with PennDOT, and two other Pennsylvania utilities, MAW Communications was one of the four added to the Working Group.
MAW Communications considers it an honor to be a member of this crucial working group. We are excited to work with the PUC and other key Pennsylvania stakeholders to help facilitate the deployment of high speed, affordable broadband throughout Pennsylvania.
MAW has over twenty-three years of industry experience pioneering fiber optic communications technology and is the communications provider of Pennsylvania’s first Community Broadband. MAW believes we will contribute a unique perspective and skill set to the PUC’s Working Group. We look forward to sharing our experiences while working with other Pennsylvania stakeholders to ensure each Pennsylvanian household and business has access to affordable, reliable, high speed broadband.
